CASA DEL MAR RESTAURANT.

(SEA HOUSE RESTAURANT)

DESCRIPTION: Design and Visualization.

COLLABORATE: Arch. Andres Rodriguez.

YEAR:2012.

Our architectural redesigned the interior and exterior of Casa del Mar, a seafood restaurant established more than twenty years ago in Cali, Colombia. Achieved the following results:

Worked with the owners to select a new logo that would complement the new design of the restaurant.
Expanded the kitchen which increased ventilation and provided natural light.
Expanded the dining area on the second floor allowing for increase customer seating. Designed and inviting wall mural representing nature.
Added two restrooms on the second floor with natural lighting. Redesigned ground floor restroom creating more space.
Redesigned the stairs to allow for better staff/customer accessibility and comfort.
Created new cashier area including spacious counter and new lighting.
Modificated the original roof to allow for increased air ventilation and natural lighting.

LAS ORQUIDEAS MIXED BUILDING. (ORCHIDS MIXED BUILDING)

DESCRIPTION: Design and Visualization.

YEAR:2012.

Located in Cali (Colombia), situated in a Eastern neighborhood known for illegal construction. The owners requested two residential apartments and one local store. Our architectural team designed the mixed building and achieved the following results:

Designed a contemporary building that is unique and will stand out in the neighborhood.
Created areas to provide cross ventilation and natural light.
The first floor includes a grocery store and one apartment (kitchen, combined living and dining room, laundry room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and three patios.
The second floor has one apartment (kitchen, combined living and dining room, laundry room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and balcony).
